Sunswept Beach Hotel is a great value 3 star hotel located on the west coast, in the heart of St. James (Holetown), Barbados. This four story complex houses 23 self-catering studios that all offer views across the picturesque coastline of the Caribbean Sea. All accommodation is decorated in a true Caribbean style with bold floral prints and authentic pickled pine furniture. Sunswept Beach Hotel is set right on the beach and offers guests comfortable accommodation in a friendly atmosphere. St. James is nicknamed the Platinum Coast and offers an array of activities and all you will need and expect during your stay. Getting to the hotel: Sunswept Beach Hotel is located 20 km from Bridgetown Airport (BGI – Grantley Adams Intl). Local tips: This hotel is located close to the Holetown Monument, Holetown Beach and St. James Parish Church. For any shopping lovers out there then both the Sunset Crest and the West Coast Mall offer a variety of shopping choices. There are beautiful beaches all around, many restaurants and bars. An internet café and salon are just a short walk from this hotel complex. Any for golf fanatics there are gold courses available at Royal Westmoreland and Sandy Lane which are both just a 5 minute drive away. Rates are exclusive to European Union passport holders only. FACILITIES: Food, drink and entertainment: There is a café and restaurant available within the complex. Sports, games and activities at the Sunswept Beach Hotel: Outdoor swimming pool overlooking the sea with sun loungers and parasols. The Holetown area offers various sporting activities such as, tennis, golf, horse riding and scuba diving. Both motorised and non-motorised water sports are available on most of the beaches on the West Coast. There is a Glass Bottom Boat Ride (Tuesdays & Thursdays 10-10.45am) with snorkelling at a wreck. The boat departs 'Pebbles' at Carlisle Bay, near Island Inn. Also available is the Bridgetown Shuttle (free service which is 16 km away)) which is available Monday-Saturday with various pick-up and drop-off times. All reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Please note that a refundable deposit of $20 is required for use of a beach towel, which can be changed as frequently as you wish during your stay.

Additional amenities available on request are cot or extra bed, hairdryer and an iron & ironing board.
