Flight time from UK: 2hrs 5mins (approx)

Oslo is an enthralling Scandinavian city situated at the tip of Oslo Fjord in Norway boasting a truly stunning landscape. The city has an unusual mix of untouched nature areas and forests, providing a striking contrast to the abundance of cultural, sporting and entertainment activities that are on offer in this fantastic metropolis.

Must See
Oslo is a unique place, with a diverse mix of things to do; from sunbathing and kayaking to skiing and ice-skating. It is home to a range of architectural styles and there are many intriguing sculptures scattered around the city, the greatest examples of which can be found in Vigeland Park. A city steeped in culture, the Munch Museum and National Gallery are two of its most famous places of interest.

Shopping
Oslo has an assortment of shops to suit all tastes. In the centre, near Karl Johans gate, is a pedestrianised precinct full of chain stores such as Benetton. In Grünerløkka you will find smaller independent shops.

After Dark
Oslo's nightlife is thriving. Chill out with the young and hip in the Grünerløkka district or try out the Jazz and Blues clubs around Karl Johan Street. Norway's chefs are amongst the best in the world, and many of them demonstrate their culinary talents in the excellent restaurants of both Oslo and Bergen.
