Must See
Barcelona's most emblematic image is that of sensational Modernistic architecture - particularly the thrilling work of Antoni Gaudi - visit the unfinished, stunning church, Sagrada Familia, or the apartment blocks of La Pedra.

Many surprises lurk in the glorious darkened streets and atmospheric alleyways of the central medieval Barri Gòtic and the ancient district of La Ribera. To its right, you will find La Rambla, a bustling pedestrian thoroughfare, overflowing with activity day and night.

South you will find Port Vell and gorgeous beaches stretching from Barceloneta to Port Olympic, to the north sit the wide spacious boulevards of the Eixample and hip Bohemian Gràcia districts. The westerly mountainous park of Montjuïc is one of Barcelona's biggest tourist draws, along with Parc de la Cuitadella to the southeast.

Shopping
Barcelona has everything, from International giants such as Chanel and large Spanish outlets like Mango along Passeig de Gracia, to smaller, boho-style areas like Born and La Ribera. The focal point of the city's shopping attractions is the Plaça de Catalunya and the Carrer Pelai. Barcelona's first ever shopping mall, the Boulevard Rosa, offers a stylish shopping experience and remains one of the most elegant malls in the city.

After Dark
Barcelona is a club, café, bar and restaurant paradise. The seafront marina areas of Port Olympic and Port Vell house numerous disco-bars, quality restaurants and tourist attractions. Clubbing-bars are generally highly designed and restaurant-clubs - slick, sophisticated operations like Salsitas, Oven, Fuse, Domestic and Lupino - serve meals until midnight, evolving into funky full-on club environments. The 'Port Olympic Party Strip', is a haven for clubbers. The majority of venues offer a contrasting experience; chilling out, sipping cocktails on a terrace or joining the dance party inside.
